Caprice sprinkles stardust at Vanguard Park launch

Caprice Bourret, the American model turned entrepreneur, helped successfully launch phase two of the region’s most successful trade business park in Shrewsbury.
Caprice entertained invited guests to the Vanguard Park launch in Battlefield with stories from her own career, explaining how she made the transition from modelling to become a successful businesswoman.
Toby Shaw, who is marketing Vanguard Park on behalf of Morris Property for commercial property agents Towler Shaw Roberts, hailed the early morning launch event as a major success.
Ten units are for sale or to let at phase two of Vanguard Park and Mr Shaw said there was already plenty of interest.
“It was a phenomenally successful launch event,” he said. “We were hugely pleased with the level of response. There’s already a lot of interest.
“Vanguard Park has become the established premier trade park location locally. There’s a lot of national companies represented there and this is another extension of that.
“Morris Property should be congratulated that they’ve been prepared to build the next phase on a speculative basis and we are expecting very strong interest from both owner occupiers, tenants and investors alike.
“Vanguard has proved unbelievably successful. It is the premier trade park in Shrewsbury. Morris Property have developed this over the last eight years and they’ve built in excess of 120,000 square feet.
“This is the next phase which will provide a range of units from 2,000 square feet up to 4,600 square feet. The whole development is about 25,000 square feet and is either available for sale or to let.”
Mr Shaw added Caprice had proved to be a popular guest speaker.
“It brought a bit of stardust to the launch,” he said. “Caprice gave a very informative presentation and was very entertaining. I think people would have gone away with a bit more inspiration for their own business.”
Robin Morris, chairman of Morris Property, said the company offer a bespoke service in providing the 10 high specification units which boast stunning full height glazed frontages.
He said: “We’ve done 69 units to date, all different businesses, with people coming in from Central London to local companies that are growing and expanding.
“They want a road side property with a great profile and you can come to Vanguard and park outside the front door so it’s easy and convenient, yet the access is straight out to the M54, so it offers the best of both worlds really.
“There’s now another 10 units to rent or to buy. It’s very flexible to come in. We offer a bespoke service. We’ve fitted out 69 units already so we know what we’re doing and we welcome everybody to come and have a look.”
